Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation. It has been 22 years since the terrorist attacks that took the lives of nearly 3,000 people. We honor the brave first responders who selflessly risked their lives to save others. We pay tribute to the victims and their families, whose lives were shattered that day. As we reflect on this somber anniversary, let us continue to stand together in remembrance and resilience.

“Quick update: as many of you have heard recently, they found what they believe is a kidney tumor in my right kidney. Its a very treatable cancer if caught early which very fortunately it was! According to the doctor the surgery was a great success keeping most of my kidney and was able to go home within a few days! I did have to go back to the hospital because I was having a fever and chills but they ran every test and ruled out any type of infection so they released me a few hours later. Currently, I am home with the family walking around able to eat (I wasn't able to eat for 4 days). I first want to give an enormous amount of praise to both our department, friends and our local! The amount of love, text, prayers, people reaching out, visitors, is unlike anything I could ever imagine! Its appreciated more than you could ever know, I am truly honored to know such world-class people! Lastly and certainly far from least, to my family and my beautiful wife.. your support and love is more that I can describe! You're the cornerstone of my life and I am forever grateful!

One positive I have taken from all this is life is precious, take care of each other. God Bless!”
